Gauge is not important with this pattern.

Special Stitches

Extended SC (ExSC)=Insert hook into stitch, YO and pull through, YO and pull through 1 loop on hook, YO and pull through 2 loops on hook.

Extended DC (ExDC)=YO, insert hook into stitch, YO and pull through, YO and pull through 1 loop on hook, (YO and pull through 2 loops on hook) 2 times.

Beginning Cluster (BCL)=Ch2, (YO and insert hook into stitch, YO and pull through, YO and pull through 2 loops on hook) 4 times; YO and pull through remaining loops on hook.

Cluster 5 (CL5)=(YO and insert hook into stitch, YO and pull through, YO and pull through 2 loops on hook) 5 times; YO and pull through remaining loops on hook.

Split SC (SSC)=Insert hook into stitch, YO and pull through, insert hook into next stitch, YO and pull through; YO and pull through all loops on hook.

Pattern

Begin with an adjustable loop or Ch4 and join with a slip stitch to form round.

Round 1:
SC in loop. *HDC, DC, ch1, TC, ch1, DC, HDC, SC in loop*; repeat from * to * 2 times omitting last SC; slip stitch into beginning SC.

Round 2:
SC in same stitch as join. *Ch11, SC in next SC*; repeat from * to * 2 times omitting last SC; slip stitch into beginning SC.

Round 3:
Slip stitch into Ch11 space. Ch1. *SC, ExSC, HDC, DC, ExDC, ch1, TC, ch1, ExDC, DC, HDC, ExSC, SC into ch11 space; repeat * to * 2 times omitting last SC; slip stitch into beginning SC.

Round 4:
Ch3, 4 DC in same stitch as join. *ch5, SC in ch1 space, ch3, SC in ch1 space, ch5, 5 DC in next SC*; repeat * to * 2 times. Join with slip stitch to top of beginning ch3.

Round 5:
Work Beginning CL (BCL). *Ch5, SC in ch5 space, ch5, (3DC, 3TC, 3DC) in ch3 space, ch5, SC in ch5 space, CL5 in next 5 stitches*; repeat * to * 2 times omitting last C5L and slipping into top of BCL.

Round 6:
Ch3, 4 DC in same stitch as join. *(ch3, SC in ch5 space) 2 times, ch3, (3DC, ch1, TC, ch1, 3DC) in second TC, (ch3, SC in ch5 space) 2 times, ch3, 5DC in top of CL*; repeat 2 times omitting 5DC cluster on last repeat. Slip stitch into top of beginning ch3.

Round 7:
Work BCL. *(Ch3, SC in ch3 space, ch3) 3 times, ch3, SC in ch1 space, ch3, SC in ch1 space, (ch3, SC in ch3 space, ch3) 3 times, ch3, CL5 in next 5 stitches*; repeat * to * 2 times omitting last CL5 and slipping into top of BCL.

Round 8:
Ch1. SC, HDC, DC, HDC, SC in same space as join. *3SC in ch3 space, Split SC (SSC) over same ch3 space and next ch3 space, (2 SC in same ch3 space, SSC over same ch3 space and next ch3 space) 2 times, 3SC in same ch3 space, SC, HDC, DC, HDC, SC in next ch3 space, 3SC in ch3 space, Split SC (SSC) over same ch3 space and next ch3 space, (2 SC in same ch3 space, SSC over same ch3 space and next ch3 space) 2 times, 3SC in same ch3 space, SC, HDC, DC, HDC, SC in top of CL*; repeat 2 times omitting last fan and join with slip stitch in beginning ch1. Bind off.
